Order Hardware
Order terminals and accessories from Surfboard where ordering is enabled for your account, and follow every delivery from the Terminals page.
Overview
Terminals and accessories you get from Surfboard can be followed in the portal from the moment they’re ordered until they arrive. For some accounts, you can also place the order yourself in the portal.
- Deliveries on the Terminals page shows every hardware order and its status. This is available to everyone.
- Order hardware is a small shop for terminals and accessories. It’s only enabled for some accounts and isn’t linked from the sidebar; where it’s enabled, it lives at
/order-hardwarein the portal.
Following a delivery
Open Terminals and click the Deliveries tab. Each order shows:

| Status | Placed, Confirmed, Shipped, Delivered or Cancelled |
| Carrier and Tracking number | Who’s delivering it, once it has shipped |
| Items | What’s in the order, with each device’s serial number once it’s assigned (“Serial number not assigned yet” until then) |
| Track shipment | Opens the carrier’s tracking page |
If you haven’t ordered anything, the tab says “No hardware orders”. When a terminal arrives, register it on the Terminals page. See Terminals.
Placing an order
If ordering is enabled for your account, the Order hardware page (“Terminals, accessories, and more”) lists what you can order: terminals such as SurfTouch, SurfPrint and SurfMini, and accessories such as a charging cradle and SIM cards. Each product has a name, a category, a short description and its price.
- Use + and - on each product to set the quantity.
- Click Checkout at the top right to open Your cart. Check the items and quantities and the Subtotal.
- Under Shipping details, check the delivery address. It’s filled in from your merchant details; click the pencil to change it. Add Delivery instructions (optional) if the courier needs them.
- Click Place order. Only admins can place orders.
The portal confirms the order with its shipment ID. There’s no separate confirmation step, so check the cart and address before you click Place order. From then on, follow the order on the Deliveries tab.
