General Terms and Conditions for the use of Surfpay by Surfboard Payments

1. Definitions
| Account Information | The email address, password and other personal security features, used by User in order to access their Surfpay Account and the Payment Service |
| Card | Any form of credit, debit or other types of cards, which may be used by a cardholder to carry out a transaction |
| Fees | Any fees which the User undertakes to pay Surfboard Payments for the use of Services |
| Merchant | The organisation or company entering into an agreement with Surfboard Payments |
| Payment Service | Payment services provided under the Surfpay trademark |
| Services | All Services provided under the Surfpay trademark |
2. General
These General Terms constitute the framework agreement for the relationship between Surfboard Payments and the User. By accepting these General Terms, the User agrees to be bound by them and the applicable Additional Terms.
3. Services
Surfboard Payments provides payment services that enable Users to accept payments for goods and services from their customers. The specific terms for Payment Services are set out in the Payment Service Terms.
4. User Obligations
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration
- Keep Account Information secure and confidential
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Not use the Services for any illegal activities
- Maintain adequate security measures
5. Fees and Payment
The User agrees to pay all applicable Fees as specified in the Payment Service Terms or as otherwise agreed. Fees are subject to change with reasonable notice.
6. Limitation of Liability
Surfboard Payments shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement by providing written notice. Upon termination, the User must cease using all Services and settle any outstanding fees.
8. Governing Law
These General Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden. Any disputes shall be settled by Swedish courts.
