What do you need to do in the Partner Portal?
Dashboard Overview
What you see when you log in to the Partner Portal: the sidebar, the cards that need your attention, volume and transaction totals, sales trends, application status, top merchants, and onboarding analytics.
Search, Assistant & System Status
Find any merchant, page, transaction or ID with global search, ask the Surfboard assistant about the portal and your data, and check whether Surfboard and its dependencies are running normally.
Applications & Merchant Onboarding
Create an onboarding application, prefill what you already know about the merchant, send the onboarding link, and follow the application through KYB and signing until the merchant account is created.
Renewals
Merchants periodically renew their KYB information through a renewal application. Track renewals, see which are about to expire, and help merchants finish them in time.
Merchant Management
Find, export, and manage the merchants in your portfolio. A tour of the merchant page and every tab on it, from transactions and stores to charges, users, configuration, and hardware orders.
Stores
Create and edit a merchant's stores, set up online payments and domain verification, configure tips and terminals per store, register terminals, and deactivate a store.
Multi-Merchant Groups
Group several merchants at the same address so they can share terminals. Create a group, add new or existing merchants, and activate and register the group's terminals.
Transactions & Reporting
Search, filter, analyse and export a merchant's transactions, open a single payment, and download settlement reports or subscribe to them by email or Slack.
Refunds & Refund Lookup
Refund all or part of a purchase from the transaction page, and use Refund lookup to see whether a refund went through, failed, or is still on its way.
Payment Methods
See which payment methods a merchant has, activate Klarna, Swish, Vipps, MobilePay, American Express, Apple Pay and more, add their pricing to the billing plan, and deactivate methods.
Changing a Merchant's Settlement Schedule
A merchant wants weekly instead of daily payouts. Generate a signing link from the merchant's Configuration tab and the new schedule applies once they sign. Also covers net or gross settlement and the daily cut-off time.
Service Providers
Onboard the companies and individuals that should receive a share of your merchants' payments through Surfboard Flow, and link them to merchants.
Product Catalog & Promotions
Build a store's product catalog for the POS app, with variants, inventory, and related products, and create promotions that show on terminal receipts and screens.
Terminal Management
Move terminals from your stock to a merchant: activate, register, reassign, and port them in bulk. Look up any terminal, rename it, change its store, and see its health, apps, and transactions.
Terminal Configuration & Tips
Set how terminals behave: display language, network, sleep and restart, PIN locks, and tipping. Configure defaults for your whole portfolio, then override them per merchant, store, or terminal.
Pair a Terminal with the Multicomm Base
Connect a SurfPrint Pro or SurfPrint Pro K terminal to its Multicomm Base so it charges and gets wired ethernet from the dock. Enable the wireless docking station, scan the code under the base, switch on Ethernet, and unpair with the reset button when a base moves.
Cash Registers (ECR)
Add and declare cash registers for your merchants, view register and control-unit details, check transactions and reports, and run daily open, close, and end-of-day operations from the partner portal.
Shipments & Returns
Order terminals and accessories, ship them straight to a merchant or in bulk to yourself, track every delivery, and send devices back with a return request and shipping label.
Terminal Apps (Software)
Push signed software from the Developer Portal to your terminals, see which versions are configured where, and uninstall apps from one terminal or a whole merchant.
Branding & Receipts
Set the colours, fonts, button shape, logo and icon your merchants and their customers see, and design the printed and digital receipts your terminals produce.
Billing Plans

Developers: BIN Ranges & Messages API
Find the BIN range IDs you can price in a billing plan or block on an order, and create API keys to pull Surfboard notices into your own systems with the Messages API.
